Kirby and the Forgotten Lands has received a new trailer that showcases many aspects of the game. One such aspect is the fact that Kirby now has a gun power-up. But what might have stolen the show was the fact that Bandana Waddle Dee made an appearance in the trailer, leaving many wondering if there is co-op or multiplayer.
The answer is yes—there is multiplayer in Kirby and the Forgotten Lands. One player, presumably the first player, will control Kirby while the other will control Bandana Waddle Dee. Kirby has his traditional absorption powers, while Bandana Waddle Dee wields a spear.

The trailer showcases several of Kirby's powers and Bandana Waddle Dee's moves. This includes throwing his spear at enemies and flying above them, using the spear as a helicopter while dropping spears on enemies.
