Inscryption is a rougelite deck builder with a dark horror atmosphere. The player finds themselves locked in a cabin with a dark entity and must battle their way out with their cards. The game is played on a map of sorts and there are different events the player can encounter, especially as they are learning the rules of the game.
One such encounter the player faces in the tutorial is the Grizzly Deck. This battle is designed for the player to lose as it teaches them about mistakes. It is possible, howeve,r to beat the Grizzly Deck—sort of. While the player can technically beat this challenge, the game will "glitch" and reset the board with nearly the dark figure's entire board being filled with grizzly bear cards.
Technically, you can't beat the Grizzly Deck as the game sort of cheats. But you can deal enough damage in the first turn to win the game. You will need to use both your emergency squirrels in a bottle as well as a third squirrel if you draw one. You will also need to use the pliers to tip the scale in your favor.
Play all of your squirrel cards and sacrifice them to summon more powerful cards. After using the pliers, you need to deal four additional damage. This can be done by using the wolf and the stout card. Just before you attack and win the game, it will glitch out and reset the board.
