Hook is best paired with a Light Cone that can boost her ATK, which will help her dish out more DMG in battle. Additionally, since she applies Burn onto enemies, she can also use Light Cones that offer bonuses against Burning enemies. Consider using the following Light Cones on Hook:

The best Relic set for Hook is a combination of two pieces of Firesmith of Lava-Forging and two pieces of Musketeer of Wild Wheat. When combined, they offer straightforward stat boosts that are useful for Hook's overall DMG.

Best Hook team comp in Honkai Star Rail

Hook pairs well in a triple Fire team with Fire Trailblazer (shielder) and Asta (buffer). While both of them play useful roles in the team, going fully mono-Fire may not be ideal for breaking enemies' Weakness, so being in a healer of a different element to occupy the fourth slot.
