As players have come to expect with HoYoverse games, Honkai: Star Rail has a large cast of rich characters. While everyone can see a little bit of each main character's backstory, a ton of details are left out. We know many of you are particularly interested in their ages and heights; while there isn't much official information to go around, we'll be giving you the best estimates we can make. We'll even defend our answers, too!
How old and tall are the characters in Honkai Star Rail?
At the time of writing, there is no specific information on the age or height of any character in Honkai: Star Rail. Early on, players get access to the Data Bank, which is a source of information on characters in the game. This keeps track of character backstory, though not age, height, or place of origin.
How we computed character ages and heights in HSR
While there is no concrete info on any of these characters, players are free to guess some aspects of those aspects, including ages. For example, it appears most of the main cast are young adults, including Dan Heng, March 7th, and the main Trailblazer.
Sometimes, the main story, events, and side quests will also give an age hint or a range. If you're lucky, you'll get an actual number, like Yukong, who is apparently 246 years old.
We can also accurately guess some of the ages of these characters (like Welt) because of the events in Honkai Impact 3.
For height, everything we have is an approximation based on Dan Heng's "official" height. HoYo definitely wasn't thinking when they revealed this. The proportions are all wrong! So, if it wasn't clear enough, do not take our height column seriously until we have something more definitive from the developers.
Still, while the information above really isn't worth believing, we at least made sure all our listed character heights are true to the differences between their in-game models. For instance, Kafka and Himeko have the same height.

A ton of the female characters wear heels too, so please give us a margin of error of around two to three inches for them!

Most of the characters in charge appear to be well into adulthood. This certainly goes for Himeko and Welt. Asta, who stays at the main base, looks to be closer to the main character's age (emphasis on "looks"). The same goes for most of the characters on Belabog, like Seele, Sampo, Natasha, and Bronya. But unlike the what is probably 80% of the HSR cast, these people actually look like their age.
As for height, Dan Heng and Welt are pretty tall. Most of the other characters are roughly the size of the Trailblazer. In fact, after going through most of Jarilo VI, we haven't found any main characters that stray from that height other than kids like Clara and Hook. As more content comes out, more lore may be introduced that clears up these characters' ages and heights.
When will Honkai Star Rail reveal all official ages and heights?
At the moment, it is unknown when and if HoYoverse will reveal the official ages and heights for Honkai: Star Rail. Much of this information is available for their other hit game, Genshin Impact, so it's possible that we'll get more info in the future. We will update this guide if we learn more official confirmation.
