You are free to explore on foot, by broomstick, and even in the various bodies of water found throughout the world. While swimming is an easy task, diving becomes a bit more complicated. This may leave you wondering how to dive in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Dive Underwater in Hogwarts Legacy

While you can swim practically anywhere there is water in Hogwarts Legacy, your diving options are more limited to areas where the water has swirling bubbles. You can only dive in select locations, but these typically contain underwater treasures. Once you find a dive spot, you will need to interact with it. Here is how to dive while in water in Hogwarts Legacy.

  • Xbox - X

Hold the interact button, and your character will dive underwater. After a few moments, they will resurface and reward you with various treasures. This can be Galleons, materials, or other items. Some quests, such as The Lost Astrolabe and Mer-ky Depths quests, require you to dive, so learn how to do it before taking on these quests.
