The Battle Arenas are a fun addition to the already full world of Hogwarts Legacy. Put your spells and skills to the test as you attempt to survive five deadly waves of enemies and gain some rewards. Completing all the Battle Arenas, minus the Dark Arts Arena, will also grant you the Rise to the Challenges Trophy. Here's how you can complete them all successfully.
How to get the Rise to the Challenges Trophy in Hogwarts Legacy
There are three total Battle Arenas scattered around the World Map. However, for this Trophy, the Dark Arts Battle Arena will not count toward it, most likely because it is only part of the Dark Arts pack. That leaves the two other normal Battle Arenas for you to complete. Here is where you can find them:
Where to find the Battle Arenas in Hogwarts Legacy
You can find the Battle Arenas with their icon on the map. The icon can be confusing, looking either like a tower or like a statue in a cloak with its arms extended out. Either way, you will find them in the Northern part of the World Map and in the Feldcroft region of the map in these locations:
- Northeast of the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame
- Southwest of the Irondale Floo Flame

How to unlock the Battle Arenas in Hogwarts Legacy
Once you come to the Battle Arena's location, as marked on the map, you will see a statue resembling the icon. Interacting with the figure is how you will start up the waves of the arena, but you must first unlock this option by completing a little task.
You must destroy all 20 vases that surround the area. A little tracker will pop up on the top right side of the screen, helping you keep track. It also helps to use Revelio to locate all of them since they will be highlighted in blue. Use a simple wand cast to break them, and you will unlock the arena for use.
How to beat the Battle Arena in Hogwarts Legacy
To complete a Battle Arena, you must survive through five different waves of enemies, each growing progressively more difficult until the final wave.
How you go about defeating your enemies is entirely up to you, whether you choose to use curses, utilize your deadly plants, or simply out magic them. In my case, I used my curses to my advantage, controlling enemies with Imperio to have them fight by my side and distract the others. However, if you choose not to use curses, you can still take them out with the best spell combos, ancient magic, and plenty of Wiggenweld potions. You'll definitely want to make sure you have the max amount of healing potions, 25, before delving into both arenas.
North Coast Battle Arena
- Enemies: Poachers, Ashwinders, Inferni, and Spiders
- Reward: Thief's Coat
South Coast Battle Arena
- Enemies: Trolls, Goblins, Mongrels, Dugbogs, and Spiders
- Reward: Ashwinder Outfit
Once you complete both of the Battle Arenas, you'll have the full duelist ensemble, the Thief's Coat, and the Ashwinder Outfit. You'll also get the achievement Rise to the Challenges pop-up on your screen. You can now officially say you are the dueling champion.
