In Hogwarts Legacy, players can explore the massive open world, complete quests, and uncover secrets. The scenic beauty of the world varies during the daytime and the night. Fortunately, the game allows you to change the time on the go, and here's how to do it.

How to change the time in Hogwarts Legacy

To change the time of the day in Hogwarts Legacy, you first need to open the Map in the menu screen as shown in the image above. At the bottom of the screen, you'll see the Wait option. Press R3 (Right Stick) if on a controller or F if playing on a keyboard to select this option. Now confirm by selecting Yes when the dialogue box appears, and the period of the day will transition.

While you technically don't sleep when changing the time of the day, waiting basically does the same thing. You should also note that you cannot simply change the clock to your preferred hour. In Hogwarts Legacy, you can only alternate between day and night, depending on your current time period. After completing the Welcome to Hogsmeade main quest, this wait feature is only made available to players.
