One of the most hyped-up spells within the Wizarding World is the ability for skilled wizards and witches to Apparate(teleport) from location to location. With Hogwarts Legacy taking place many years before the events of the Harry Potter series, you may be wondering if you'll be apparating in and out of locations like a spell-slinging Auror. Well, we've played enough to learn the answer.
Can you learn to Apparate in Hogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, you cannot learn Apparate in Hogwarts Legacy. As bitter as this sounds, there could be any number of reasons for this. First, with a large portion of the game taking place within the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the lore actually supports you not being able to apparate into or out of the school. Special defensive charms, set up by the school's founding members, prevent anyone from entering or exiting Hogwarts through teleportation.

The second reason you likely can't Apparate is the existence of the Floo Network. The Floo Network acts as your standard fast travel mechanic within Hogwarts Legacy and pretty much grants the same purpose. It isn't as flashy or interesting, but mechanically, it works all the same without breaking the Wizarding World's lore.
