Halo Infinite's multiplayer launched ahead of its campaign, allowing players to get their hands on the game early, or at least part of it. A tradition in past Halo games was that players could unlock armor in multiplayer through the campaign. Players may be wondering if this is true of Halo Infinite.
Players can unlock multiplayer gear in the Halo Infinite campaign by finding armor lockers. These lockers are hidden throughout the campaign, so players will need to keep their eyes peeled for them. But despite the name, players do not actually unlock any armor from these lockers.

The unlocks granted by the campaign's armor lockers consist of armor coatings and stances for the player's Spartan. What's worse is that these coatings are locked to the Mark VII armor core and cannot be used with any other armor core like the Mark V.
Those hoping to unlock cool and unique armor by beating the campaign will be disappointed with this news, especially on higher difficulties. Regardless, if you want these unlocks, you will need to seek out the armor lockers in Halo Infinite's campaign.
