With Halo Infinite's campaign finally releasing on Dec. 8, 2021, players can finally experience the latest chapter in Master Chief's story. Before players can experience the mysteries of Zeta Halo and The Banished, however, players will have to download the campaign, which can be a contrived process.
Halo Infinite isn't launching on PC for some players, even after the game's official release. Thankfully, Reddit had a fix in minutes. Follow the steps below to install Halo Infinite on PC:
- Download the Halo Infinite Multiplayer update from Microsoft
- Launch Halo Infinite Mutiplayer
- Select Campaign from the Halo Infinite Main Menu
- Select Download
- Select Campaign from the following menu
- Apply the Campaign download.
The Halo Infinite Campaign should start downloading once you've completed the above steps. Make sure you have at least 48.42 GB available for storage, as Halo Infinite's story has a separate install from the multiplayer.
You can check Halo Infinite's Installation Progress by selecting the game's Control Panel and clicking the icon at the bottom of the screen that says manage. The Download Progress, Current Install Size, and Disk Space Available are all located on the right-hand side of the screen in this menu.
