If walking were the only viable option to get around in open-world games, then it would double or triple the time it takes to complete it. Luckily, most games offer a sort of vehicle or animal that speeds up the process of getting from A to B, and Immortals Fenyx Rising is no different.
Immortals Fenyx Rising: How To Tame Mounts
To tame mounts in Immortals Fenyx Rising, you have to wait until you have reached the quest Gods and Monsters, as this is where the game begins up open up. Any horse you see in the wild you can tame, and if you are lucky, you might even find some mythical animal you can tame.
The most important thing to consider is how you approach the horse or any other ridable creature. You must be sneaking, or in other terms crouch, to make yourself less visible, then slowly approach the creature. It's best to approach the animal from its blindside, so come towards it from the back.
If the animal detects you, a red exclamation mark will appear over its head; when you see it, stop moving until it disappears. This is to inform you that it's angry and knows something is there; if you continue to move, then the mount will ride away. Once this mark has disappeared, you can now start moving again and head towards the animal.
When you are close enough, wait for the words Tame Mount to appear, and ready to hit E if playing on PC or Y/Triangle if on console. And that's all you have to do. It's not like Zelda: Breath of the Wild, where you need to tame horses using your stamina gauge. It's automatic, and it's yours to summon whenever and wherever you want to by pressing T or Y/Triangle. Of course, there will be some areas of the game; you can't summon them.
To change your mounts, just open up your inventory, and you will see all the mounts you have tamed. The different colored backgrounds behind the animal indicate rarity! The more colorful, the better!
