There are a lot of Relics to choose from in Ember Knights. In addition to our favorites, we have advice on choosing Relics whether you buy them in the shop or find them in a room.
Best Relics to pick in Ember Knights
Let's start with the best relics. They help you out in combat and can be acquired early on. A few others are helpful, but not everyone will be dedicated to finding every single Relic, and many of them cost a lot of Gold in the shops.
- Conduit Spike
- There are a lot of other Lightning Relics, but this one is guaranteed to activate on the third hit on any enemy. Most other relics give a chance that it will maybe happen sometimes. Go with the guaranteed hit.
- Toxic Bangle
- The first hit you deal with an enemy gives them poison. That is guaranteed damage and can sometimes be enough to wipe an enemy out completely.
- Rejuvination Glove
- Dealing a critical hit causes you to heal. There is no understating the importance of gaining health in the middle of a room.
- If you have the chance to pair this with Ripe Elderberry, you will be overpowered. Ripe Elderberry increases your Crit chance for three seconds after you heal.
- Venomous Necklace
- A poison barrier encircles you and infects your enemies. This is a great skill to have, regardless of your playstyle.
The theme is Relics that help you out regardless of the special things you do. It's tempting to go for Relics that can double with powers, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
You should avoid relics like Lethargic Brew, Stun Powder, and Harvest Scythe. This is because they rely on a power that deals with elemental or status damage before they work, so they can either be useful or completely useless. Relics are the only ones that will work every time, so it makes more sense to just focus on them.
You should also avoid relics like Spite Shield and Bulwark. It's not that they are useless or unhelpful, it's because they rely on you getting hurt. It is not wise to take damage lightly, so make sure you use Relics that will kill your enemies before they can harm you.
