All full-time jobs in The Sims 4 have lower and higher levels within them. It takes time to rise up the ranks unless you use promotion cheats. For that reason, we've broken these up into the path you can take, rather than the individual positions within the industry.

What is the Ministry of Labor in The Sims 4?

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

If you don't want a specific job for your Sim but still want them to have a job title, you can register with the Ministry of Labor. The Ministry's only purpose in The Sims 4 is to register a job title for a Sim that is not in an official career. Some examples that players often use this feature for are Stay-at-Home Parent, Farmer, Pet Breeder, and Landlord. To register a job, go to your Sim's phone and choose the Career tab. Then, select Register with the Ministry of Labor and enter your self-employment title.
