How to get Thistle Needles in Grounded

These are sharp.

One of my favorite parts of a survival game like Grounded is using a bow and arrow to fend off deadly creatures. However, we'll need to get Thistle Needles before we can craft arrows.

Where to get Thistle Needle in Grounded

To get Thistle in Grounded, you must find a Thistle Plant. Look for a tall stalk with a purple flower at the top. Once you locate one, approach the stalk and remove the needles going up it; you do not need an axe to get Thistle Needles from the plant. I've marked a location below where I found some Thistle plants.

Ensure the flower looks the same as the one pictured in this guide. There are multiple purple flowers, so look for the bulb underneath the purple flower to verify it is a Thistle plant. You can climb a rock or the roots of the oak tree to get a higher vantage point and locate them. It can be hard to spot Thistle from the ground if you are among tall grass stalks.

Thistle Needle is primarily used to craft arrows, but it has other uses as well. You can craft various acorn fencing with it and even a spike trap. Those who prefer to hunt and fight from afar with a bow and arrow will want a lot of Thistle Needle to create as many arrows as possible.
