How to craft an Axe in Grounded

To craft an Axe in Grounded, you need three ingredients; Sprigs, Crude, and Pebblets. All of these are relatively easy to find, though you must craft Crude Rope with Plant Fiber. All of these can be found throughout the world, including right at the start of your game. Here is what you need to make an Axe in Grounded.

  • Sprig x3
  • Pebblet x2
  • Crude Rope x2 (Plant Fiber x6)

Once you have all three ingredients, you can open the crafting menu and make an Axe. You can automatically craft the Crude Rope if you have the necessary Plant Fiber when crafting the Axe; you do not need to craft this item first. The Axe can be used as a weapon, especially early on against Bombardier Beetles, and a way to gather resources, so it is well worth crafting and should be one of the first tools you make.

Sprigs appear as tall thin stalks with two leaves and are common in many areas. Plant Fiber is equally as common, and comes either as a small leafy plant or a small spiny stalk. Pebblets can be found on the ground or by breaking a stone with a hammer. I recommend gathering these ingredients as you play so you always have them on hand.
