In a rather emotional scene, Genshin Impact's Nahida, the Dendro Archon, uses her power to erase the memory of her predecessor, Greater Lord Ruhhkahdevata, from the entire world near the end of Chaper Three's Archon Quest. At first, this event seems only to affect how characters behave in further scenes in the Archon Quest. However, after completing the Archon Quest, many other things change, truly erasing Greater Lord Ruhhkahdevata from the world of Teyvat. Here are the changes that we've noticed in-game.

Does Genshin Impact change when Greater Lord Ruhhkahdevata is forgotten?
Everything from in-game texts to NPC dialogues changes after you complete the third Chapter of the Archon Quest. This list is what we were able to gather, but there may be other changes we haven't spotted yet:
- The item description of Ruhhkahshava Mushrooms changes. Instead of symbolizing Ruhhkahdevata's legacy, the name is now considered to have come from a mighty tree.
- The three books from Folio in Foilage, the story of the Dendro Archon's involvement in the events of the Cataclysm, all change to indicate that it was Nahida who participated, not Ruhhkahdevata.
- Mentions of Ruhhkahdevata are removed from the Kalpalata Lotus item description.
- The Traveler's Voice-Over About Beliefs, in which the Traveler talks with Paimon about the People of Sumeru's devotion to Greater Lord Ruhhkahdevata, is removed.
- Nahida's character stories are significantly changed. They attribute all of Ruhhkahdevata's deeds to Nahida, and any mention of Ruhhkahdevata is removed.
- Turns out, the forest can forget. If you do not complete the Aranyaka Quest line before completing Chapter 3 of the Archon Quest, many of the Aranara's dialogue lines change to remove any mention of "Queen Arayani." It shifts the dialogue to indicate that Nahida is responsible for all Ruhhkahdevata's deeds.
