Yun Jin, the brand-new 4-Start Geo character in Genshin Impact, will be up for grabs later on in the Genshin Impact 2.4 update. Similar to last year's Lantern Rite, players will have an opportunity to earn and choose a Liyue 4-Star character of their choice during the Lantern Festival's Preposterous Partnerships Event. Despite being brand-new, Yun Jin will be included in this lineup.
This year the Preposterous Partnership Event will include the following characters:
- Beidou (Electro Claymore)
- Chongyun (Cryo Claymore)
- Ningguang (Geo Catalyst)
- Xiangling (Pyro Polearm)
- Xingqiu (Hydro Sword)
- Xinyan (Pyro Claymore)
- Yanfei (Pyro Catalyst)
- Yun Jin (Geo Polearm)

In order to obtain Yun Jin for free, players will have to complete the objectives of the Preposterous Partnerships Event and then choose her from the list of characters available. Taking the time to complete the event for a free character helps players save their Primogems for 5-Star pulls like Shenhe, Xiao, Zhongli, or Ganyu.
It is currently unknown what the objectives of the event will be, so keep an eye out for more guides when they become available.
