Hu Tao is the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, a person vital to managing Liyue's funerary affairs. She does her utmost to flawlessly carry out a person's last rites and preserve the world's balance of yin and yang. Secret Spear of Wangsheng
Secret Spear of Wangsheng (Normal Attack)
Perform up to six consecutive spear strikes.
Secret Spear of Wangsheng (Charged Attack)
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to lunge forward, dealing damage to opponents along the way.
Secret Spear of Wangsheng (Plunging Attack)
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing Area of Effect Damage upon impact.

Only an unwavering flame can cleanse the impurities of the world. Hu Tao consumes a set portion of her Health to known the surrounding enemies back and enters the Paramita Papilio state.
Paramita Papilio
In this state, Hu Tao gets the following effects:
- Increases Hu Tao’s Attack based on her Max Health at the time of entering this state. Any Attack Bonus gained this way cannot exceed 400 percent of Hu Tao’s Base Attack.
- Converts attack Damage to Pyro damage, which cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion.
- Charged Attacks apply the Blood Blossom effect to all enemies hit.
- Increases Hu Tao’s Resistance to interruption.
Blood Blossom
Enemies affected by Blood Blossom will take Pyro Damage every four seconds. This Damage is considering Elementalk Skill Damage.
- Each enemy can be affected by only one Blood Blossom at a time, and its duration may only be refreshed by Hu Tao herself.
- Paramita Papilio ends when its duration is over, Hu Tao falls in battle or leaves the battlefield.
Elemental Burst
Spirit Soother
Hu Tao commands blazing spirits to attack, dealing Pyro Damage in a large Area of Effect. Upon striking the enemy, regenerates a percentage of Hu Tao’s Max Health. This effect can be triggered up to five times, based on the number of enemies hit.
If Hu Tao’s Health is below or equal to 50 percent, when an enemy is hit, both the Damage and Health regeneration are increased.

- When Hu Tao cooks a dish perfectly, they have a 10 percent chance to receive an additional Suspicious dish of the same type.
Flutty By | Unlocked at Ascension 1
- When a Paramita Papilio state activated by Guide to Afterlife ends, all enemies in the party (excluding Hu Tao) will have their Critical Hit Rate increased by 12 percent for eight seconds.
Sanguine Rouge | Unlocked at Ascension 4
- When Hu Tao’s Health is equal to or less than 50 percent, their Pyro Damage Bonus is increased by 33 percent.

Crimson Bouquet | Constellation Lv. 1
- While in Paramita Papilio state activated by Guide to Afterlife, Hu Tao’s Charged Attacks do not consume Stamina.
Ominous Rainfall | Constellation Lv. 2
- Increases the Blood Blossom Damage by the amount equal to 10 percent of Hu Tao’s Max Health at the time the effect is applied.
- Additionally, Spirit Soother will also apply the Blood Blossom effect.
Lingering Carmine | Constellation Lv. 3
- Increases the Level of Guide to Afterlife by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Garden of Eternal Rest | Constellation Lv. 4
- Upon defeating an enemy affected by Blood Blossom, all nearby allies in the party (excluding Hu Tao) will have their Critical Rate increased by 12% for 15 seconds.
Floral Incense | Constellation Lv. 5
- Increases the Level of Spirit Soother by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Butterfly’s Embrace | Constellation Lv. 6
- Triggers when Hu Tao’s HP drops below 25 percent, or when she suffers a lethal strike:
- Hu Tao will not fall as a result of Damage sustained. Instead, for the next 10 seconds, all of her Elemental and Physical Resistance is increased by 200 percent, her Critical Rate is increased by 100 percent for 10 seconds, and her Resistance to interruption is greatly increased.
- This triggers automatically when Hu Tao has one Health left.
- Can only occur once every 60 seconds.
