Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is now live with a new map that features 12 different POIs for players to explore. Shifty Shafts is one of those named locations, and it's full of high-tier loot, enough for a squad of four members.
Shifty Shafts is located right above the center of the map. It stands exactly where Pleasant Park used to be in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8. For reference, players need to land between Logjam Lumberyard and Sleepy Sound POI.

This new POI is designed after a mine, and there are plenty of hiding spots to utilize if you get outnumbered. Players will need to know how to reach this POI to complete various quests and challenges associated with it.
The location has several underground tunnels where chests are hidden. These tunnels are ideal to lure in the enemy and pick them off one at a time. The Shifty Shafts POI will soon become a hot-drop location because of its high-tier loot and abundant materials.
