Fortnitemares is Fortnite's Halloween-themed event that happens each year. It will include new content for players to enjoy, and while we don't have any official idea of what that will be, there have been rumors and leaks to give us an idea.
HYPEX, a well-known leaker of Fortnite content, tweeted some information that gives us an idea of what to expect. This includes a Halloween Boss, which has been codenamed Freaky and will be able to summon creatures while you fight it. It will also drop a new mythic weapon and a pumpkin launcher. HYPEX also leaked that Fortnite would add a new ammo type called Phantom Ammo.
Outside of these leaks, you can assume that Fortnite will add new seasonal and themed cosmetics to go with Fortnitemares and new points of interest changing the map. While Fortnitemares will be a fun Halloween event, it may not be for the faint of heart, so beware if you drop into Fortnite during the event.
