Farming is one of the best ways to get food resources in LEGO Fortnite, along with scavenging. For this, you must extract seeds from your existing fruits/vegetables. So, here is a complete help guide on how to make seeds from scratch in LEGO Fortnite.
How to get fruits/vegetables in Fortnite
Firstly, you would need the actual fruit/vegetable. Explore the big wild world of LEGO Fortnite and collect fruits/vegetables naturally growing in each biome. For example, if you need pumpkins, go to the desert biome, whereas for the Raspberry, you should search the green/lush areas. So, keep scavenging each region until you find your desired food.

How to make seeds in LEGO Fortnite
Once you have the seeds, the next natural step is to extract seeds from those fruits. For this, you would need to craft a Grain Mill. This station can be made using the following materials.
- x20 Knotroot Rods
- x20 Granite Slabs
- x3 Shells
Once you have the Grain Mill, put the fruits/vegetables inside the mill from which you want to extract seeds. Hit the process button to get two seeds per fruit/vegetable. Ensure to collect the seeds after processing by clicking the seed icon in the Grain Mill menu. Voila! You have seeds of any of your favorite food items. You can now sow the seeds in garden soil and add fertilizers collected from cows or sheep to start growing crops. Tend the crops, and you will get food in no time.
Remember, you can also get seeds while digging soil using a shovel. I won't recommend this method for collecting seeds as it is very random, and you will only get one or two after digging for hours.
