Camps or Tents are one of the new features added in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, and players can find these spawning all across the map. There is no specific location to find Tents since they are added as ground loot.
You can pick up a Tent or claim one which belongs to another player in-game. Claiming a Tent is easier as it doesn't take up space in your inventory. Players can enter the Tent to rest, or store loot from current games which will move forward to the next match.

The loot forward feature is definitely what makes Tents crucial in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. You can save high-level loot inside them, and can also heal and hide inside Tents during a match.
There are three different inventory slots where you can store loot inside the Tent. The first two slots are free, but you will have to purchase the third slot for around 100 gold bars. Players can store up to three Spider-Man Mythic Web Shooters inside a Tent to use them in the next match.
Items stored in the Tent cannot be looted by opponents, and you will find them after getting a new Tent in the next match. Essentially, players can store up legendary and mythic loot right before a match ends. This method allows you to have good weapons in every match.
