In Final Fantasy XIV, Meteion is a character introduced late in the Main Story Quest (MSQ) of Endwalker. A key part of the new expansion, Meteion’s child-like nature and deep story significance has made her a fan favorite. So much so, many are wondering who Meteion’s voice actor is.
Well, Meteion’s voice actress in English is Rosie Day. An English actress, director, and writer, you might recognize her from the drama series Outlander. However, Rosie Day has also been in several high-profile television series in the UK, including Good Omens, Misfits, and others.

In Japanese, Meteion’s voice actress is Atsumi Tanezaki. A professional voice actress, or seiyuu, Atsumi Tanezaki has featured in Beastars, Demon Slayer, Bakugan, and several other animated series.
Recently, many thought they’d heard Meteion’s voice in a new game, Elden Ring. However, neither Atsumi Tanezaki or Rosie Day appear as voice talents in the new FromSoftware game.
In Final Fantasy XIV, Meteion plays an incredibly important story role. A surprise antagonist, Meteion, and her alter-ego, the Endsinger (also voiced by Rosie Day and Atsumi Tanezaki), are some of the ultimate foes in the Endwalker expansion. It’s no wonder the actresses' voice work made an impression on FFXIV players.
