We all know the only reason people subscribe to Final Fantasy XIV and endure some of the toughest content in an MMORPG is the chance to obtain some otherworldly mounts. After all, what's better than riding around the world of Eorzea on a mount that only a handful of people have obtained? And nabbing bragging rights like the Lynx of Imperious Wind will put you on a tier all on itself. Here's how to add it to your collection.
Where does Lynx of the Imperious Wind drop in FF XIV?
Lynx of the Imperious Wind is a one-seater mount summoned via the Lynx of Imperious Wind Flute. This item drops from the Storm's Crown (Extreme) Trial introduced in Patch 6.2. To unlock the Trial, players must have completed the quest, I have Wandered Sharlayan as a Minstrel. The Wandering Minstrel gives this out in Old Sharlayan at (X:12.7, Y:14.3).

Lynx of the Imperious Wind is an impressive-looking coeurl. It shares the same design aesthetic as the Trial's encounter, Empress of the Winds: Barbariccia. Lush green leaves float about the oversized cat as it pounds the ground and skies with its oversized paws. It's not the easiest mount to obtain, but it is easy on the eyes. Good luck with your dungeon runs and drop rates!
