Final Fantasy 16 level cap – What is the max level?

My cap is off to the creators of this system!

Final Fantasy XVI brings many gameplay innovations to this established and long-running franchise. One such change is the game's transition from turn-based fights, favoring a new style of hack-and-slash combat in real-time. The RPG element has also seen some changes, and during my adventures, I'm looking forward to maxing out Clive's level as much as possible to get all the features unlocked. For those of you wondering what the maximum level cap you can reach in Final Fantasy XVI is, read on!

What is the maximum level you can reach in Final Fantasy XVI?

The maximum level you can reach in Final Fantasy XVI during your first playthrough is 50. I also noticed that the enemy level scaling works very well in this title, with enemies following closely and having a level cap of no more than 50. To reach the level cap, unlocking Clive's full potential and plowing through the Main Quests won't be enough; you will have to do many Side Quests as well.

How to unlock level cap of 100 in Final Fantasy XVI?

After the first campaign playthrough, you can go over the level cap of 50 in FFXVI when you unlock the Final Fantasy difficulty, which is essentially the game's New Game+ mode. Doing so will raise your level cap all the way up to 100, but it will also raise the enemy level cap, making them scale with you, so you won't feel overpowered during your second playthrough of the game.
