One of the fan's favorite companions is back in Far Cry 6. Boomer (Boom Boom in Far Cry 6) - the awesome dog is returning to the franchise as an amigo.
He is one of the hardest pets to squire. To find him, head over to the Balaceras region and go to Camp Máximas. It is a guerilla camp in this area.
You will need to look around and find a shipping note on a pole. It is highlighted in purple color as a quest marker. The text is called "Shipment from Montana," which clearly references Montana from Far Cry 5.

It will unlock the mission called "Boom or Bust," which is a Yaran story mission. Your objective is to find the lost weapons shipment. After you reach the mission waypoint, you will find a big blue-ish container. You will find many things inside that reference the previous Far Cry game and Boom Boom amigo, which is basically Boomer from Far Cry 5 but in Far Cry 6.
He functions similarly to what he did in the previous installment. He will fetch you stuff and drop it by your feet and help you track enemies.
