Ubisoft has announced today that Far Cry 6 has gone gold. The sixth entry in the Far Cry series releases October 7, 2021, on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation. You might be wondering what the term gone gold means and we'll tell you.
This means the game has been passed compliance requirements and is fully playable. It has been deemed to play with stable performance and the manufacturer has approved it. The name gone gold comes from when the practice of sending a disc to be manufactured first started and the disc was gold.
