Once upon a time, companion apps to games were all the rage. Some games still offer companion apps that players can download for iOS or Android and Dying Light is one of them. That may leave some players wondering if Dying Light 2 Stay Human will have a companion app.
Currently, there is no confirmation that Dying Light 2 Stay Human will have a companion app. The closest thing at the moment is Techland.gg. Players can sign up on the site and complete quests to earn in-game items. These include weapon skins, clothes for Aidan, and more.

The companion in the original Dying Light allowed players to collect materials while AFK. This does not seem to be the case with Techland.gg, but the site mentions that more rewards are coming soon. It is also possible that a companion app will become available later on.
Companion apps are a great way to extend the player's experience with a game while not making it mandatory. Techland has been revealing more information about Dying Light 2 as its launch approaches, so they may talk about this more later.
