Dying Light 2 offers several critical choices during its campaign that can impact the end of the game. As players progress through the story, the decisions become more urgent, with the game's last few missions allowing players to choose who lives and who dies. Players confront Colonel Williams with Lawan, but who is better to trust in this encounter.
Players shouldn't trust Colonel Williams in Dying Light 2. Doing so allows him to live and eventually take control of the city once the game's final mission concludes. This scheming antagonist will give you the same information on Waltz regardless, so it isn't worth leaving him alive. Letting Lawan shoot gets the Colonel's wife shot as she tries to defend him, eventually taking her own life. After Williams divulges information on X13 and Waltz when you don't trust him, he shoots himself after, preventing his tyrannical rule of the city.
Lawan will walk away from the encounter injured when you try to kill the Colonel, but she survives. All in all, it's better to save the city from another corrupt ruler so that it can thrive once Aiden handles the crisis in Dying Light 2.
