Disney Dreamlight Valley is a magical place where players can hang out with their favorite characters, increase friendship levels, and complete various quests for them. Along with the friendship quests, players will have plenty of story quests to complete. Many of the story quests are related to the mystery behind the Forgetting.
After completing The Remembered quest, you'll see a post-credit scene that shows a famous character from Aladdin. Here's everything you need to know about the next characters coming in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Is Jafar from Aladdin coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The Remembering update in Disney Dreamlight Valley allowed players to finally see Fairy Godmother joining the valley. With her arrival in-game, players got new friendship quests along with new story quests. Act 1 of Disney Dreamlight Valley focuses on The Forgetting which robbed the villagers of their memories.
Most of the quests in Act 1 made way for players to understand the reasons behind The Forgetting and the person responsible for it. The Forgotten, an alternate version of yourself, is the character responsible for The Forgetting. After the Remembering update, players will be able to face The Forgotten by completing the following quests: Dark Castle, and The Remembered.
The Dark Castle is basically a darker version of the Dream Castle and is home to The Forgotten. A portal opens up at the Plaza which leads you to the Dark Castle. During the Dark Castle quest, you must face and confront The Forgotten to put an end to the dark rifts threatening the valley. After completing it, another quest The Remembered will begin where you two stop the rifts together following which The Forgotten joins the valley.
A cutscene ensues where all the villagers gather together to welcome you and The Forgotten. The Dreamlight Valley logo appears along with the game's credits, and shortly after, a post-credit scene rolls where players can see the shadow of Jafar, and hear his iconic laughter. Behind his shadow, there is a mysterious green-colored map inside the Dark Castle. This bit of teaser shows fans what to expect from the next Act in the game.

When are Aladdin characters coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley?
At the time of writing, there is no official confirmation as to when this iconic villain is stepping into the valley. Act 1 was all about the mystery behind The Forgetting, but with that solved we might get to see an entirely different storyline for Act 2. In that case, players are likely to encounter new characters like Jafar along with unique story quests that delve deeper into the storyline for Act 2.

All the major characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley have their own realm in the Dream Castle. However, there are several doors in the Dream Castle yet to be unveiled. There is a possibility that a new realm will introduce characters like Aladdin, Jasmine, and Genie with a major content update in the future. Although the map image was vague in the post-credits, there might be a possibility of getting a new biome too.
Seeing Jafar's shadow in the Dark Castle could also mean that The Forgotten has a much bigger role to play in Act 2. So far, there are no friendship quests for The Forgotten but that might change since the Dark Castle is where we see Jafar when the post-credits roll.
