Quartz isn't technically a Gem, but you can find it in the same place as Gems, just like Iron and Gold. To get some, you'll want to mine in the deposits around Ancient's Landing. Even if it has a Gem in it, you can still get Quartz to drop out along with Coal and other crystals as you're mining. It will be a bright white crystal that drops onto the ground.

You can find Quartz in the deposits in these areas of Ancient's Landing:

  • The Docks
  • The Courtyard
  • The Overlook
  • The Ruins

If you want to get more Quartz out of each deposit, be sure to invite a friend with the mining role to hang out with you while you're mining the deposits. They will drop some extras for you to collect and make saving up a lot easier.
