Diablo 4 features many different demons and creatures of the dark that need dispatching. Elites are different from the regular mobs in that they're bigger, frequently have status effects, and offer better drops. Gaspar Stilbian is a Super Unique Monster, a rare Elite, ranking equally with the most potent non-boss enemies in the game. Having a mage character, I took a special interest in killing this Elite for its loot, but I had trouble finding him. If you've hit the same snag as I did, read on!
What is the location of Gaspar Stilbian in Diablo 4?
To find Gaspar Stilbian's location in Diablo 4, head over to the Scosglen and find The Scar. You can see him emerge from a lava pit in an opening between the mountains. He will start walking towards you, but he won't attack. He is entirely docile, making him even more unique than other Super Unique Monsters.
Once you kill him, he is guaranteed to drop a single item from the Outcast's armor set. If you're playing a mage as I do with one of my characters, farming him will benefit you greatly because of the awesome stats. He is also guaranteed to drop 5 Crushed Beast Bones, which you will need to make a Level 3 Health Potion upgrade at the Alchemist, no matter which class you play as. Crushed Beast Bones are notoriously difficult to farm, and farming Gaspar Stilbian is the only guaranteed way to get them.
Upon his death, Gaspar will also drop Outcast’s Handwraps, a rare and unique item especially valuable for the Sorcerer class. It will have the following stats:
- 500 Item Power
- 250 Armor
- +4.5 - 8.0% Fire Damage Over Time
- +Ranks of Incinerate (Sorcerer Only)
- Lucky Hit: Up to a +8.0 - 11.5% Chance to Slow
