The long-rumored KFC and Diablo 4 promotion has finally come into fruition, and an invitation to the early access beta weekend is up for grabs. All players have to do is purchase the Double Down sandwich from KFC, and then it's smooth sailing into the beta weekend running from March 17 to 20.
How to get Diablo 4 beta access from buying a KFC sandwich
Buying the Double Down sandwich from the KFC app or KFC.com will give players a code to the Diablo 4 beta. From the look of things, it seems like purchasing the item in person or through a food service app like Uber Eats or DoorDash won't work in this scenario.

Players will need to buy the Double Down sandwich, which is a newly-returned chicken sandwich from the KFC menu in the past that uses chicken as the buns instead of, well, buns. For many people, the sandwich will be just a bonus as the main draw in this promotion will be beta access.
How to redeem Diablo 4 beta code
Blizzard lays out these steps for redeeming the beta code once players get it. It should work for all of the platforms Diablo 4 is on.
- Go to diablo.com/beta and log in or create your Battle.net account.
- Enter your code and select your gaming platform and region (if applicable) from the drop-down menu.
- Be sure to check your selections before clicking the Redeem button.
- A success page will confirm that your code was valid and claimed to the account.
- For PC players, your account will be flagged for access right away.
- For console players, a platform-specific code to download the Beta will be emailed to the address associated with your Battle.net account closer to the start of Early Access.
The KFC promotion gives players access to the early access beta weekend, and there will also be an open beta weekend running the following weekend of March 24 through 27. Characters made in the early access beta period do carry over to the next beta.
