How to fix the Solstice Quest Bug in Destiny 2

Have mercy, Space Grandma!

Those with a need for speed are running into an issue with the Solstice quest on their alts in Destiny 2. Many are reporting an issue when trying to progress Eva Levante's quest on their second or third characters, specifically the step that requires converting Silver Leaves into Silver ash. Here's how you can fix this bug.

The issue appears to be that Destiny 2 encounters a bug and is giving these characters a negative Ash balance. This shows as 0/20 within game, but in reality, Guardians could be in the negative by thousands. A quick and easy way to check is through the progress page of the Destiny Item Manager (DIM). By running the Bonfire Bash event in the EAZ, Guardians can begin to convert their Leaves into Ash and make up the difference.

Some players are reporting that deleting the quest and reacquiring it at the kiosk in the Tower will resolve the issue, but responses indicate this isn't a guaranteed fix. So, depending on how in debt one is to the Space Grandma and how much effort you really want to put into an alt, check DIM first and see if it's worth the hassle. Good luck, Guardians!
