Some players are facing an error code in Destiny 2. This error, from Bungie's help articles, means that there is a possible connection issue while connecting to the servers. This may be due to various reasons, either on the server side or the player side. If it is on the player's side, read below on how to troubleshoot it.
Destiny 2 Error Code Currant - Fixes
The Error Code Currant means that there could be ISP issues, packet loss, network hardware issues, Wi-Fi connection drops, and other factors effecting the connectivity between the player and the Destiny 2 servers. So, here's how to fix this:
Step 1: Check Destiny 2 Servers
If the Destiny 2 servers are down due to maintenance or some other reason, then all you can do is wait for them to be back up. You can either visit DownDetector or check Bungie's support account on Twitter for any official announcements.
Step 2: Check your Internet
Restart or reset your router, and reduce the number of devices connected to it, as slow network speeds can interfere with server connections. Use a stable connection, preferably Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Power Cycling your device
- PS4:
- Hold the power button until your console is completely off
- Once completely off, unplug your console from the outlet and wait 30 seconds
- Restart your console
- Xbox One:
- Make sure your console is in idle mode before pressing the Xbox button. Wait until you see it power off
- Disconnect it from the outlet and wait for a minute
- Reconnect and restart
These steps should fix your Error Code Currant problem in Destiny 2. If the issues persist, make sure your router drivers are updated, if any. Also ensure that there are no security or firewall settings for your router that might be blocking the connection. If all else fails, test it out on a different internet connection.
