Free-to-play online sci-fi FPS Destiny 2 has stayed at the top for more than five years, thanks to a steady stream of content updates. If you’re an inexperienced player, though, the sheer weight of gear and other choices can be pretty overwhelming. When I first started out, I found the D2 Armor Picker website tool super useful, as it grabs the best gear from your inventory depending on your class without you having to wade through miles of stats and info. How to fix issues with the Destiny 2 D2 Armor Picker
At the time of writing, there aren’t any specific issues with the D2 Armor Picker, so it is likely to be a simple communication problem (although you may also want to check the D2 maintenance schedule). Either clearing your cookies, using a different internet browser, re-logging, tweaking your antivirus software, or trying incognito mode should get you back on track. We’ll go into a little more detail on each of these below.
D2 Armor Picker fixes
Below are a couple of fixes for D2 Armor:
- Switch internet browser: Browser updates can mess with everything from site layouts to video loading and apps working, so if D2 Armor Picker worked for you before, it is worth trying another browser to see if that fixes the issue.
- Log out and log back in: The old classic, switch it off and then switch it on again. I’d suggest logging out of the game, then the website, then logging back into the game, and then back into the website.
- Clear your cookies: Cookies are the absolute bane of my internet life and like many I tend to just accept everything nowadays. But this has the potential to cause clashes and issues, so clearing them out might solve your D2 Armor Picker problems.
- Go incognito: Most internet browsers have an incognito mode. If all else has failed to this point, try opening a new window in your browser in incognito mode and logging in that way.
- Antivirus settings: Try to temporarily disable your antivirus settings or (if you’re an advanced user) make sure that both Destiny 2 and the D2AP site have access through it.
