The hype train for what is likely the last expansion in the Destiny 2 saga, The Final Shape, is pulling into the next stop. During the 2023 Showcase, Bungie showed off new Supers coming to each class. Today, players get to see them in action with a dedicated trailer for each.
All showcased Supers in the Destiny 2023 Showcase
Titan Twilight Arsenal Super
Titans embrace the Void once more with the Twilight Arsenal Super. In the trailer, we see Titans leap into the air and hurl down three axes, which can then be picked up by the entire fireteam. Additionally, we see the new Void Aspect, Unbreakable, in action. With it, Titans produce a spherical shield that absorbs incoming damage before being launched back in the face of foes.
Warlock Song of Flame Super
Warlocks channel their inner Osiris with the Song of Flame Super. When active, Warlocks hurl itty bitty baby phoenixes that explode upon contact. The trailer then shows the new Solar Aspect, Hellion, which appears to be the equivalent of the Arc Soul or Void Soul. This tiny sun shoots fireballs at nearby enemies.
Hunter Storm's Edge Super
Finally, Hunters get to join the party with their Storm's Edge Super. When active, the Guardian leaps into the air and chooses where to throw an Arc knife. Upon the knife hitting, the Hunter is teleported to the location where they spin like a figure skater intent on killing. The new Arc Aspect, Ascension, Amplifies teammates while the Hunter helicopters into the air with their Arc Staff after shooting an Arc wave ahead.
All in all, each of the new subclasses looks like a lot of fun. As a Grape Titan main, I'm definitely looking forward to having more utility in my kit and raining down gigantic axes. The Final Shape can't come soon enough!
