Will Dead Island 2 get New Game Plus?

Just because Dead Island 2 doesn't have a New Game Plus mode right now, it doesn't mean it won't ever get one. The developers haven't said anything about one coming in the future, but other video games, like God of War Ragnarok, received New Game Plus a few months after launch after fans heavily requested the mode, so if the demand for it is there for Dead Island 2, we could potentially see it added in.
