As a skill-based killer with a very high learning curve, selecting the right perks is very important for any Nurse player. From perks to add-ons, here is a list of a few of the best builds for the Nurse in DBD.
Keep Bleeding Nurse Build
- Sloppy Butcher
- Thanatophobia
- A Nurse's Calling
- Stridor
This Nurse build is great for those who don't have all Killer perks just yet but want to learn how to play her. Sloppy Butcher doesn't work on Nurse's Blink attack, but I think this is still a great perk, as you will use the Basic attack, too, especially as you are still learning.
Sloppy Butcher causes the Mangled effect, reducing the healing speed for Survivors from Injured to Healed. It also causes the Haemorrahage effect, meaning the Survivors produce more pools of blood, making them easier to track. Their health progress also reduces unless they are fully healed, which works perfectly with A Nurse's Calling and Stridor. Coulrophobia could work as a replacement, too.
A Nurse's Calling reveals auras of Survivors who are being healed in a certain range. Stridor increases the volume of pained grunts when injured. You will get a lot of information when you combine these with Sloppy Butcher.
Thanatophobia slows down the game with the generator repair and cleansing speed being reduced for each injured survivor. These four perks combined are great for slowing down the game and keeping the Survivors injured while the Nurse is tracking them.
The best add-ons for this build would be Anxious Gasp, which makes Survivors scream if you blink past them within a 1-meter range, and Attaxic Respiration, which reduces the fatigue effect for the Nurse.
The All-Seeing Nurse Build

- Bitter Murmur
- No Way Out
Lethal Pursuer is a perk that works great on Nurse, as it reveals all Survivor auras at the start of the match. With her Blink power, this is a very fast and very aggressive start to the game.
Barbecue & Chilli lets you keep being aggressive with incoming information. When you hook a Survivor, all auras of Survivors who are far from the hook are revealed.
Bitter Murmur activates whenever a generator is repaired. It reveals all Survivor auras within a range of the repaired gen. Bitter Murmur also reveals all Survivor auras once the gates are active for a duration of time.
If you haven't gotten to everyone yet, then No Way Out is the perk for trapping the Survivors on the map. When a Survivor interacts with the Exit Switch, it will trigger a loud noise, and the Switches will be blocked for a duration based on how many tokens you have collected during the game.
The best addons for this build are Heavy Panting, which extends the Lunge duration and increases Attack range, and Fragile Wheeze, which applies the Mangled status effect on Survivors.
No Gens Nurse Build

Discordance slows down the generator repair by forcing Survivors to spread out. They can't know for sure if you have this perk, so it is a guessing game you can keep abusing. Have all Survivors revealed to you whenever two or more work on one together.
Hex: Ruin regresses all generators a Survivor isn't repairing. Once a Survivor is killed, the totem will become dull, so make sure to focus on hooking different Survivors.
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance is another good regression perk. Start the trial with four tokens that are used up whenever a Survivor is hooked for the first time. This explodes and regresses the generator with the most progression and causes the Survivors fixing it to scream.
Surveillance is a perfect perk to track the regressing generators. If someone starts working on a regressing generator, its aura will be highlighted in yellow. It also increases the range of the audio of generators being repaired.
The best addons for this are Catatonic Boy's Treasure, which reduces fatigue after Chain Blinks, and Fragile Wheeze, which applies the Mangled status effect and makes the Survivor focus on healing instead of working on generators.
