Clicker Heroes has both auto and manual save functions, and you can import saves to play games on other devices. If you’re not sure how Clicker Heroes import codes work, I’ve explained the process below.
The success of the free idle action game Clicker Heroes (different from the Roblox Clicker Heroes game) has seen it released on multiple formats, including mobile and PC, which has somewhat confused matters in terms of import codes, but my guide will clear up all the permutations.

The process of importing save files for clicker Heroes is relatively straightforward and, better still, can save you an awful lot of time if you want to get to the endgame fast! This is because players share advanced save positions online, which you can use on your version of the game for instant progress! However, some important rules apply.
- You cannot import save files into the Apple iOS version, due to the process being against App Store policy.
- Save files for the Steam and Android versions are different, as the game is technically different on each platform. This means you can only import a Steam save into a Steam version, and an Android save into an Android version of Clicker Heroes.
The image above is of the Steam version of Clicker Heroes. However, the process is identical to the Android version except the screen layouts are slightly different.
How to find Clicker Hero save files
On Steam, you can find your own Clicker Hero save file in your main Clicker Heroes folder in your Steam directory (it will simply be called ClickerHeroSave). You’ll need to open the file (it is just a plain text document) and copy the text inside to your clipboard. On an Android device, you will need to regularly use the Export button and save the text yourself into a document.
If you want to use someone else’s save file information, simply copy and paste it from the source and paste it into your game as if it were your own. As long as the source information is legitimate, and from the correct version of the game, you’re good to go.
