Players of Cities: Skylines 2 will inevitably want to know everything about the game, but this can be tricky when there are so many aspects to gameplay. One useful tool you'll encounter is the ability to make separate districts, which enables you to essentially have neighborhoods or boroughs on your map. You can even make your own ordinances that only that area follows. Here's how you can do it!
How to make a district in Cities Skylines 2
Making a district in Cities: Skylines II is actually really simple, so don't feel too anxious about it. All you need to do is go to the the transparent square icon on the bottom UI bar, which is right next to the multicolor zoning button. Click on the square and choose to make your own district, then outline the appropriate area and connect all the dots to confirm the district. From there, you can rename it, see its stats, and even set your own rules for the area.

How to make District Ordinances in Cities Skylines II
You can set ordinances for your area after you outline and make the district. After, click on the district to get the menu to pop up in the left side of the screen. At the top of the screen, you'll see a series of black and white icons—hover over them to see each ordinance and what it does. Click on the ones you want to enable (you'll know they're active when they turn green).
