Century: Age of Ashes is a free-to-play multiplayer game in which players battle from the backs of dragons. However, whether or not these are, in fact, dragons have been called into question, and serious debate has broken out over this. Many fans believe that these creatures are actually wyverns.
There are good arguments for both sides of this debate. Many different cultures have different depictions of dragons. The classical western image of a dragon depicts it with four legs and wings, whereas a wyvern only has two legs. This could easily lead to Century: Age of Ashes having wyverns and not dragons.

This is definitely open to interpretation and debate, though, as wyverns are typically considered part of the dragon family. Other media, such as Game of Thrones and The Hobbit, depict dragons with only two legs as Century: Age of Ashes does. As a fantasy creature, there is really no right or wrong way to depict dragons.
The debate will go on, but since Playwing LTD has called them dragons, we will have to stick their ruling. Regardless of if they are dragons or wyverns, the decision to market them as dragons is smarter as dragons are considerably more popular. But ultimately it is up to the player to decide which creature they ride.
