With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 right around the corner, the game's developers have provided some information on the new iteration of the popular Battle Royale, Warzone. According to the recent Call of Duty blogpost, we can expect a Warzone successor to arrive by the end of 2022.
Since Warzone 2 is going to be an entirely new game, your cosmetics and skins from Warzone will not carry over to it. There will be brand new characters, maps, and weapons for players to experience, and porting content from a previous generation game wouldn't be the best thing to do.
In order to fully deliver this state-of-the-art experience, Warzone 2.0 will feature new Modern Warfare II content and systems with brand-new progression and inventories.
