In Call of Duty MW3, operator skins are not supposed to give you a tactical advantage in the game, but one skin stands out: The Gaia. Here's how to get this skin in MW3.
How to get the Gaia (Nova) skin in Call of Duty MW3
The Gaia (Nova) skin makes you partially visible on certain maps like Estate. It can be obtained from the Season 6 Battle Pass in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. You can purchase the battle pass with 1,100 COD Points or get the BlackCell edition to claim both variants of this skin. The Gaia skin can be unlocked from Sector F11 in the Battle Pass. To reach this sector quickly, I recommend unlocking all the rewards in Sectors F1, F2, F13, F12, and F10 quickly with Tokens.
The Gaia skin belongs to the character Nova, and you can equip the outfit by visiting the Operator tab. The Groot-like design of this skin makes it stand out in a way that is causing trouble for players who do not have it. This skin becomes extremely difficult to spot on maps that are filled with bushes, trees, and similar structures.

For instance, I rage quit out of five to six games on Estate and Wasteland after being constantly killed by barely visible Gaia skin users. I can accept dying to a highly skilled player (might even send them a friend request in sheer awe of their talent), but cosmetics like these remind me of the time when Warzone was unplayable, thanks to the Roze skin)
It's reassuring to know that I am not the only one facing this issue, as several community members took to Reddit to share their negative experiences while going up against this skin. The Gaia skin becomes almost invisible on maps like Wasteland, Estate, and Underpass. As recommended by various players, perhaps reworking the skin with different features that do not blend in with the environment would be the perfect way to go ahead.
