Strike Team DMZ Mission Guide

Easily destroy the Bullfrog from a vehicle!

A new Commander carrying a Weapon Case was added to Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ in the Season 4 update. The Strike Team mission for Tier 3 Phalanx faction challenges you to kill the Bullfrog Commander in Vondel from a vehicle and then extract his Weapon Case. Here's how to accomplish that.

Below are this mission's objectives:

  • Destroy the Bullfrog Commander from a vehicle.
  • Extract the Bullfrog Commander's Weapon Case in the same deployment.

When does the Bullfrog Commander arrive in DMZ?

The Bullfrog enters Vondel when the match timer hits 17:00. Keep an eye on this timer below minimap and act fast before some other team gets to the Commander. A notification saying "Bullfrog Entered Vondel" will also appear on your screen when the boss arrives. You can then open your tac map and locate the Bullfrog Commander by following the yellow case icon, as shown in the second image.

For the Strike Team mission, you don't just have to kill the Bullfrog, but you have to do so while sitting in a vehicle. Before the arrival of the boss, make sure you have a repaired and refueled vehicle ready. I suggest using an LTV as it has high health and can take more damage from the bots shooting at you while you chase the Bullfrog.

It should go without saying that it'd best to ask for help from your teammates to do this mission. While chasing, make sure your vehicle always stays about 40 meters behind the Bullfrog. That's because he drops proximity mines that can blow up your car if you get too close.

Therefore, maintain your distance, keep following the Bullfrog, and keep weakening his vehicle by shooting and throwing explosives at it. In case the Bullfrog Commander leaves the map before you can destroy him, you'll just have to wait as he'll pop out again from somewhere.

Best weapons to use to destroy the Bullfrog Commander

Since the Bullfrog's vehicle has a lot of health, regular weapons don't do enough damage to destroy it quickly. I suggest using a powerful LMG with a large magazine and incendiary rounds for extra damage that'll help take down the vehicle faster. Here's a RAAL MG build you can use:

  • Muzzle: Nilsound 90
  • Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3
  • Underbarrel: SA Side Grip
  • Ammunition: .338 Mag Incendiary
  • Magazine: 100 Round Belt Mag

If possible, bring a Launcher such as the RPG-7, PILA, or Strela-P alongside the LMG to deal more damage to the boss. And don't forget to use lethals like Semtexes, Thermites, and Drill Charges.

Once you've defeated the Bullfrog Commander, he'll drop some valuables and a Weapon Case. Grab the Weapon Case and head straight to the nearest exfil point. Alternatively, you can complete a Rescue Hostage contract to extract from the map. My recommended method of extracting is to purchase a Personal Exfil from a buy station. Either way, make sure you extract safely—else, you'll have to reattempt the mission all over again.
