A plethora of new perks have been added to Call of Duty: Warzone with the Season 1 update and Modern Warfare 3 integration. Perks are an essential part of your loadout, therefore, it's important to figure out the best ones for you.
Although every player is different and is entitled to run whatever perk they want, some meta perk options are preferred over others just because they are more powerful. In this guide, I've discussed the best perks and ideal perk packages to equip in your Warzone loadout.
Best perks to use in Warzone (MW3)
You can equip a total of four different perks in your perk package in Warzone. With the numerous options available, you can create a combination best suited for your playstyle. To customize your perk package, go to your Custom Loadout, select Swap under perk package, and equip or add any option from the Custom Packages tab (see image). Now you can edit your perks instead of using default ones.
Best Perks for Slot 1 & Slot 2 in Warzone
- Battle Hardened: Reduces the effect of enemy Flash, Ftun, EMP, Gas Grenades, Frangible Ammunition, and Shock Sticks.
- Use this if you can't stand getting stunned or flashed.
- E.O.D.: Reduces damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire such as Frag Grenades, Semtex, and other lethals. Also resets the fuse timer when picking up live Frag Grenades.
- Because lethal equipment are now more powerful because of their increased damage, E.O.D. may just be a must-have perk.
- Sleight of Hand: Reload your weapons faster.
- Faster reload time is always a meta perk to consider.
- Double Time: Increases tac sprint duration and the time it takes to refresh.
- Use this perk for smoother movement when covering larger distances.
Perk Slots 1 and 2 have a shared list of items from which you can pick. Out of all the options available, these are the best ones in my opinion and you can't go wrong with any. Another good option, especially for snipers, is the Focus perk that reduces flinch while aiming and extends breath hold duration.
Best Perks for Slot 3 in Warzone
- Quick Fix: Killing players or inserting a plate immediately starts health regeneration.
- Because the HP bar replenishes slowly now, Quick Fix is one of the best perks in Warzone.
- Tempered: Refill armor plates to full with two plates instead of three.
- This reduces the time to fully armor up as you require one less plate. An alternate way to attain this perk is by equipping the Tempered Plate Carrier if you find it as loot.
- Stalker: Increased strafe and aim-down-sight movement speed.
- A buff to side-to-side movement makes you a difficult target to hit, especially during close-range gunfights.
Best Perks for Slot 4 in Warzone
- Ghost: Hides you from enemy UAVs, Portable Radars, and Heartbeat Sensors while moving.
- Ghost has always been a go-to perk for many players in Warzone, but there are some other powerful options available. Also, you can just equip to Stealth Plate Carrier if come across one.
- High Alert: Your vision pulses if spotted by an enemy outside your view.
- As of now, High Alert is my go-to perk for the fourth slot as it warns the player of any threat out of their view, which happens quite often in a large-scale BR.
- Resolute: Gain a short boost to movement speed when taking damage from gunfire.
- The Serpentine perk from Warzone Caldera returns but isn't as overpowered. Even a slight speed buff while getting shot can save you from getting killed in a fast TTK game.

Now that you know what perks are top-tier, I have two of the best perk packages for you to run in Warzone Battle Royale. Either of these options will work well for aggressive playstyles but feel free to edit some perks as per your preference:
- Perk Package 1: E.O.D., Double Time, Tempered, Resolute
- Perk Package 2: Double Time, Sleight of Hand, Quick Fix, High Alert
