Activision is bringing people on to develop Call of Duty: Warzone for mobile

Activision earned over $1 billion in revenue via Call of Duty: Mobile last year. Unsurprisingly, the company has plans to expand its reach with a mobile adaptation of the immensely popular Battle Royale game—Call of Duty: Warzone.

The vacancies were first shared on Activision's Twitter account, followed by an official blogpost on the Call of Duty website. The positions are diverse, with roles in production, engineering, design, art, and marketing divisions. This news comes as Call of Duty: Warzone is celebrating its two-year anniversary.

Since Warzone Mobile is still in its development phase, there is no say on when it'll be released. However, it can be safely assumed that the game's beta or soft launch version might be available by the end of 2022. While the soft launch can be limited to select countries and devices, expect a global launch the following year in 2023.
