Offline XP Glitch

This is a weird glitch, but it apparently gives you a ton more XP when doing any of the following methods listed below. All you need to do is disconnect your internet from the game after killing the boss in Mayhem Mode (important). Once you go back online, you will notice the XP gain in Mayhem mode has increased significantly (+900% in Mayhem 3 for XP, Cash, and Eridium)! Here are the steps on how-to do it:

  • Kill the Boss you want to farm.
  • Disconnect from the internet (PC just quit out of the game and then disconnect).
    • Xbox: System > Settings > Network > Network Settings > Go Offline
    • PlayStation: Settings > Network > Uncheck Connect to Internet
    • PC: Disable WiFi or unplug your Ethernet cable. There's likely other ways to do this, you just need to disconnect your PC from the internet.
  • Quite Game & Close the App
  • Open the Game
  • Farm the Boss!

This method generally works best by using the Porcelain Glass Bomb Grenade and spamming Graveward. You can see an example of it in action via this video:

Borderlands 3 XP Farming Methods

Graveward Farm

If you want tons of XP, cash, Eridium, and Legendaries then this is the best method to farm them all. You'll need the Porcelain Glass Bomb Grenade (ideally) that you get from a side quest on Eden-6. If you don't have that yet, you can find out about it here. You then crank up the Mayhem levels which you gain after completing the story for the first time. Graveward can be found on Eden-6 as well, and you can fast travel to The Floating Tomb to fight him.

Spam the grenade onto him over and over again and he will go down very quickly. Repeat this farm as much as you want and collect all the experience you can handle! If you don't have the grenade, you can still farm Graveward with a boss killing FL4K build or whatever other OP build you might have.

Eden 6 - Ambermire: Rogue's Hollow Farm

This is a recently discovered farming location that can get you a ton of XP relatively easily. Head on over to Eden-6 and Ambermire and use the Rogue's Hollow Fast Travel Station. Turn around and you'll find an area of the building with broken windows. Jump out of here and down to the ground below. Don't worry, you don't take fall damage in Borderlands 3.

There's a cave entrance nearby and in this cave four special enemies that are part of a Crew Challenge spawn. They don't have shields, so they are relatively easily to kill and give a ton of experience. You'll know you've found the right enemies if they are named as some form of Billy. If you've beaten the game, you can bump up the Mayhem level and get a ton of XP as well as Guardian Rank! Once you've killed them all, just exit to the menu and re-enter the game and repeat as needed.
