How to Fast Travel in Bleak Faith Forsaken

Just don't forget where you were!

Fast Travel in Bleak Faith: Forsaken is relatively simple, but unlike other Soulslikes, there won't be a preview of the locations when selecting where to travel. Instead, players will have to memorize the names of the locations when they can or keep traveling from place to place until they find the area they were looking for. Fast Travel is tied to the Homunculus, but there is a bit of a catch for the Homunculus Mirage that players can make. This is how to Fast Travel in Bleak Faith: Forsaken.

In order to travel from area to area quickly, players just have to interact with their Homunculus and choose a place to fast travel to. When interacting with one, all the fast travel points where previous Homunculi are will be displayed. The Homunculus Mirage that players can place down can also be used as a fast travel point, making it easy to travel back for upgrades or trade Crystals out. When fast traveling this way, the Homunculus Mirage will go back to the player's inventory, meaning it can't be traveled back to. When traveling back, it'll be important to keep in mind how far the journey was because there will be no fast traveling back to a place unventured.

To place a Homunculus Mirage, players will have to have it in their inventory. This is unlocked after defeating the first boss of the game, Konrad The Traitor. The input is:

  • PlayStation - Hold O
  • Xbox - Hold B
  • PC - Hold F

If a Mirage has already been placed, players won't be able to get one until they reach a regular Homunculus and put it back in its case. Only one can be placed at a time, so it's important to use them wisely.
