Social Media has just become a whole lot more important in BitLife with the recent update, so we're taking a look at how to best become an influencer in BitLife! You've got Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube to tackle if you want to make it to the top! So, we're going to have to attempt to go viral if we're going to gain enough followers to get ahead of the competition.
Influencer Guide
To become an influencer, all you really need to do is join up with with the various social medias. You can join them all, or you can focus on one of them. You can do this right around the age of 12 or 13. Once you've joined up, you will need to start making some posts!
How to Go Viral
Going viral is pretty random, but in my experience it usually centered around either posting a sexy picture or a thirst trap. These are kind of the same deal, but to give yourself a better chance at achieving a viral post, you will want to make sure your Looks stat is as high as possible! So, make sure to go to the gym, take walks, do martial arts, and even hit the Salon & Spa once you have some money.
I found YouTube and TikTok to be completely random, so focus on whatever video type you want and hope you hit it big.
Trolls
You will get a lot of trolls doing the thirst trap/sexy picture angle, so just ignore them whenever you see something like that. If you troll them back you risk getting your account suspended. Also, they do lower your happiness stat, so make sure to keep an eye on that and boost it when it gets low.
Purchasing Followers
As soon as you possibly can, get yourself a part time job or do some freelance gigs. You will want to start purchasing followers very quickly, because you can pretty much only do it once per year. However, you can purchase followers for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube. It's only about $100 - $200 to purchase 5,000 followers for each service, so it's easy to get that money and do it each year.
Doing this can get your account suspended, but it's a risk you'll have to take! If one of your accounts do get suspended, try an appeal and hope it goes through. If not, you'll likely need to advance a year and try again. It's pretty much all luck and you'll just have to roll with it.
Once you have a high amount of followers, there's not a whole lot of reason to keep purchasing them.
Posting
You'll want to post many times each year. In the 5 - 10 posts range, you will notice you won't gain anymore followers for a post. At that point, you can start posting on one of the other platforms, or you can just move forward a year.
It seems once you start posting a certain type of content consistently, you are pretty much locked into it. If you try to post radically different stuff on that social media channel, you will usually lose followers. So, try to stay within the same type of postings. For example, if you choose to do gaming on YouTube, you can likely also do Livestreams.
Promoting
After you get in the 50,000 - 200,000 range of followers you can start promoting items. I would look for opportunities which would again make sense with the content you are posting. If you're posting sexy pictures, I wouldn't do a promotion for real estate because you'll likely lose followers (happened to me).
Verification/Fame
Once you reach about 350,000 followers one of the platforms you will become a Social Media Star! Once you have this you can access the fame area where you can write a book, do a commercial, pose for a magazine, and go on a talk show. I would make sure to only attempt commercials early on while your fame is low. If you try all the options and fail, you will drop your fame. Continuing to post on your social media platforms will get you additional fame. Once you reach about 50%, I would then try a Photo Shoot. At about 75% and higher, you can do a book and maybe attempt the Talk Show.
Once you have gotten 100,000 followers on one of the platforms you can get verified! This will give you a pretty significant boost to your fame.
